I started collecting anime seriously
only 6 years ago when I was in my last year of high school. At first, I was watching
anime based on videogames before waking up to the more lovely animation. One golden
rule for me is that it's subtitled before dubbed anime. Of course, there are some
anime with beautiful dubs like The Cockpit, Giant Robo and Tenchi
Muyo. Another point is that I dislike shoujo anime... not for a thing, just
because there always seems to be a lot of exaggerating in it and the art style
usually is not my type... well except for some titles a la Kareshi Kanojo No
Jijou :)
Recently, my pockets are being very
emptied with the purchases of Kenshin/Samurai X DVDs... I'm even
considering taking FLCL DVDs (since they have English subtitles from volume
2 and above) when I have extra bucks ^^
