I guess I don't have any preferred
anime genre, as long as it's good, which is of course highly subjective :) While
I enjoy "fun" anime a lot, sometimes I feel that the dramatic parts
in most shows are underdeveloped if they're there at all. If you look at my "Best"
list, you'll notice most of them have serious elements as part of their show (except
for Tenchi Muyo!). Still, serious shows need to be balanced with fun shows and
amongst those the following are my favorite: Photon, Love Hina, Hand Maid May,
Slayers, Tenchi Muyo!.
