The all-female crew of the Muse checks out the spaceship Zonge
whose crew has perished except for the strange and beautiful Flair. Little do
they realize that they've taken in a monster who proceeds to take them out one
by one.
Alien From The Darkness has a nicely
done plot for hentai standards. It's obviously gotten its inspiration from the
movie Alien and other sci-fi horror movies, complete with the usual clichés.
The character designs are very nice. The animation is scarce here and there but
otherwise very consistent. There is one nice lesbian scene, but because the show
focuses more on the plot than usual, the rest of the sex scenes are unfortunately
extremely brief. It would have been much better if it were 4 episodes instead
of one 45-minute episode. A worthy watch nonetheless.
