Angel's Egg is the most thought-provoking anime I've
ever seen. I've watched it about five times now, each time picking up something
new or noticing something I hadn't considered yet. Angel's egg is a very
visual piece, with almost no dialog. The story is about a girl carrying an egg
around in a dark, surrealistic world. She meets a man who wants her to break open
the egg to see what's inside. Having faith in its contents, she refuses to open
it. Everyone should see this OAV at least once and draw your own conclusions on
what it really means.
