Animation Runner Kuromi-Chan is a short, but enjoyable
show. Kuromi starts work at an animation studio and promptly becomes production
manager, where she has just one week to make sure all the key animation scenes
are finished, before shipped off for inbetweening overseas (presumably South Korea,
although it isn't mentioned). The show looks good, and some fast scenes are well
animated. Art-wise it looks like Kodomo no Omocha, and some bits remind
me of Jubei-Chan (not strange, considering the director also did those
2 shows, as well as Here and There Now and Then, Kazemakase Tsukikage
Ran and Elf Princess Rane). I appreciate the good production quality
and enjoyed the humor in the show, too bad it's so short. |
