[Combined review of both movies] Ashita no Joe's
(Tomorrow's Joe) movies are a good watch only for those who have watched
the series. That is not to say they are totally not watch-able for other, but
I won't recommend that especially when knowing the anime is old (1980)... These
movies are just very shortened views of their respective shows... So shortened
it's only enough to tell the main parts of the story, but the boxing matches are
short that sometimes make me wonder why are these movies being made? Animation-wise,
don't expect much especially in movie 1. I doubt these would help defining what
Ashita no Joe is or get people interested in it. I will just pass on these,
you want to see AnJ, go watch the series and you will just love it.
