CLAMP In Wonderland is a simple four minute music video,
obviously enough from that all female manga group! This video is basically just
a bit of light entertainment where all the major CLAMP characters all come
together and have a little fun. Although, being as old as this video is the more
recent CLAMP creations are absent, including those from series such as
Card Captor Sakura or Clover.
There's
no real sensible progression from one scene to another, for instance one moment
the Rayearth girls are in their mechas and the next they're falling into
the arms of the CLAMP School Girl Detectives. But obviously this kind of
anime isn't really interested in that anyway. The music backing sung by Ookawa
Nanase and called Anata dake no Wonderland (Your Very Own Wonderland)
goes together with the animation nicely and the events going on are all amusing
stuff.
However the main point which will affect how
much you enjoy this minute anime is how well you know and like the CLAMP
characters. If you don't know much about characters from CLAMP's early
series then you won't get much of the humour or in jokes. Ultimately that fact
will determine how much you like this music video. I don't know too much about
these characters, for instance I've never read or seen any of Tokyo Babylon,
and hence the rating I give it but a more knowledgeable CLAMP fan would
no doubt score this higher.
