Coo is about a young boy who rediscovers a species thought
to be extinct. They become very close to one another, and seem to be able to communicate
with each other a la Lassie. Of course, the military has other plans for the area
and wants to use the surrounding islands for nuclear weapons tests. It is a rare
thing when water is animated well, and this movie did an excellent job. The story's
pretty good as well, with a strange mix of family-oriented fun and combat-oriented
action sequences.
