This Christmas Special episode of DiGi Charat
follows on from the Summer Special series and thankfully raises the standard
from that disappointing set of episodes. This one off 25 minute special episode
sees all the DiGi Charat cast lured onto a cruise ship seemingly for an
around the world cruise only to discover it is in fact another of Pyoko's plans
to try and create misery for Deijiko.
This special
pretty much keeps the spirit of the original TV series going on with the same
kind of wacky humor that was so evident in the first series and that's why this
is so enjoyable. Another set of new characters is introduced in the form of Pyoko's
dog-boy companions who are just as funny as all the other characters and thankfully
the awful slug character from the Summer Special is no where to be seen.
Other bonuses in this special included the White version of the TV series "Party
Night" song and Deijiko and co in a number of cute outfits, which is always
nice to see! If you've liked any of the DiGi Charat stuff you've seen in
the past then this other special will be no different.
