Ginrei, the female heroine of the Giant Robo series
comes with her own version of the show. First thing to think of is that this one
is purely a fan service for the fans of Ginrei. We see our heroine in three unrelated
stories that focuses on often silly, ecchi to some sort, and comedic situations
with little or no plot. After the first 2 episodes, we get treated with variant
versions of Ginrei's answering machine, which can be funny at times. I liked the
3rd episode (Blue Eyed Ginrei) the best. It is set in the wild west where Ginrei
and Tatsukiu arrives for one mission. However, as a fan of Giant Robo, I was expecting
a more serious subplot to the actual awesome storyline of the original series.
Instead, I got treated with this. While I don't hate it, it still ranks with the
average shows I often see; watched once and forgotten forever.
