Extremely cute and hilarious, the Goldfish Warning Movie
will overload your senses if you're into fast-paced, zany comedy with lots of
superdeformed moments. It reminded me quite a bit of Dragon Half.
Tanakayam
is trying once again to capture Gyopi, a pink flying goldfish, by luring him with
a cute yellow goldfish named Gyopo. The scenes with Gyopi and Gyopo falling in
love attempt to be extremely cute with both goldfish sporting big sparkling eyes
and emitting cute sounds that you'll either melt and giggle hopelessly or die
on the spot from acute diabetes. Gyopi's owner Chitose is not amused however,
as she feels that her unique Gyopi is way too exclusive to hang around an ordinary
100 yen goldfish like Gyopo.
Created by the people
responsible for the Sailor Moon anime (which apparently has some references
to Goldfish Warning), if you like your head to explode while laughing hysterically
this is the show to watch.
