Due to the major popularity of the series, three episodes joined
together with 10 minutes of new footages to make into one movie. Even thought
it wasn't enough, the new footage definitely helps understating the story a little
bit better. The main goody part of this movie is the extended version of the battle
scenes between Gundams and Serpents, which makes the movie more intense than OVA.
There was surprising appearance of Dorothy (the girl with big eye brow), and it
was good to see her again in the sequel. The new soundtrack was added (TWO-MIX's
Last Impression, pretty song ^^), which fits to the movie perfectly. Even
though I did not like the TV series that much, Endless Waltz sets me on
fire with its extreme battle scenes and high quality animation. This movie puts
to the end as a grand finale of Gundam Wing saga!!!
Endless Waltz tries to tie up the storyline that wasn't
tied up in the TV series, but in actuality I'm sure it was made just to sell new
versions of the Gundams. This movie/OVA is quite complete in it's story. I don't
wish to give the storyline away, but it does seem to flow along with the TV series,
both continuing it and going back before the TV series. It is interesting to see
the original reason the Gundam pilots were sent to Earth. The DVD contains two
versions, the movie version and the 3-part OVA version. The movie version contains
some new animation that the OVA version does not have. The DVD is a must buy,
but be sure to watch this after you watch the whole Gundam Wing series
or you will be lost.
