Hyper energetic, utterly funny AND super stupid, all of these
are descriptions that fit well Sana Kurata, the sixth-grade daughter of the Aoki-award-winning
author. If you ever thought of grade school to be purely fun and carefree, think
again because this is not he situation for Sana. Her class is a source of problems
caused by the boys gang, leaded by the devil himself, Akito Hayama. Things get
progressing quickly as the situation changes from hate to friendship plus mischief.
Sana, who also stars in a TV show called Kodomo no Omocha (A Child's Toy), or
Kodocha for short, is as I mentioned pretty stupid to the degree she would start
confusing sentences like, for example, saying "No program" when she
meant "No problem". The series is utterly funny and chaotic. Sana alone
makes you laugh nonstop with her natural stupidity, weird singing, and unbelievable
situations. Still, the series has its tender moments that make it a bit mature.
The OVA series forms the first 5 or 6 episodes of the TV series. I enjoyed this
very much.
