Sorata Muon is an arts teacher during the day and the legendary
thief named Mouse at night. Assisted in more ways than one by Mei (blonde), Hatsuki
(green-haired), and Yayoi (brunette), Mouse steals valuable cultural icons as
well as whole buildings. Yes, whole buildings get stolen, and they're chased by
a loud-mouth inspector who is more of an annoying speck than something resembling
Inspector Zenigata of Lupin III fame. Suffice to say that the whole action/stealing
bit is incredibly stupid because it is played off somewhat seriously. Now the
fanservice is amusingly exaggerated - not used in an original way at all, but
amusing nonetheless (if you like fanservice that is) with gravity-defying mounds
of flesh .
Mouse is only 12 episodes, each
episode being 13 minutes long. Any longer and you'll be commiting harakiri. I
like the OP and ED though, they're very catchy. And any show
using trumpets in the music gets bonus points.
