Reiko Kure is a beautiful detective with a dark past. She is
drawn to a string of gruesome cases seemingly involving quiet young Nozomi Ema,
who has an unusual tattoo of an ogre engraved on her back. Reiko takes Nozomi
under her protection even though she now knows that the ogre on Nozomi's back
can come to life. Can they find the tattoo artist who did this?
Oni-Tensei
is one of the better demon hentai shows out there. The plot moves along nicely without being suppressed by the sex scenes, and the characters aren't
your usual shallow stereotypes. There is some logic as to why Reiko and Nozomi
act the way they do, and why Reiko is determined to protect Nozomi.
I can't
really define it, but Oni-Tensei also exhibits a certain type
of perverted & violent atmosphere which can draw me into its filthy universe,
but at the same time doesn't gross me out like other demon shows can.
