In this movie, as with most things dealing with Ranma, Akane
gets kidnapped and Ranma & gang goes off to save her. The more I see of Ranma,
the more I like. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, don't let the 3 1/2 rating fool
you.. It's nothing superb, but if you like Ranma then this is certainly
a lot of fun to watch. The movie is probably somewhat confusing if you haven't
seen any other Ranma... at the very beginning they seem to introduce a
huge amount of characters, it's almost overwhelming even for those of us who have
seen a bit of the series. I think my favorite part about this movie and all other
Ranma universes is the amazing interaction between the characters, they
all play off of each other extremely well, making it very funny.
