Episodic and like the latter Ranma 1/2 TV show, but
these stories are better than the average TV episodes. And as OAVs they got bigger
budgets for animation and drawing. These OAVs can be watched after about 40 episodes
of the TV series (after all the main characters have been introduced). Definitely
see these if you are enjoying the TV show.
