Lina and Naga visit another town and become entangled between a feud between Lord Culvert and his daughter Marlene....over the raising of her allowance. Marlene has managed to take the dragons to fight for her, and even employed Naga, while Lord Culvert has help from Lina. There's quite a bit of silliness involved as neither party is very competent. Things become a bit more serious when the true villain steps forward.
If this sounds familiar it's because it is. The formula, while predictable and simple, is amusing enough, it's just that I dislike the pacing in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th Slayers movies (it's been a while since I saw the first movie). It feels like a regular episode stretched out to 1 hour. There's also no attempt to try anything new, which makes Slayers Gorgeous ultimately an uninspired and stale product. The orchestration of the usual synthesizer background music drivel gives it an even more awkward feeling.
