While the animation in this movie beats the pants off anything seen in Slayers thus far, there isn't much else to watch it for. The comedic elements that I watched Slayers for just aren't funny here. And when Slayers fails to make you laugh, there isn't much left. Also, Naga is one of the nastiest, most unattractive female characters I've ever seen. They should of included Sylphiel if they needed another female; screw the continuity errors it would cause. This movie has way too much of one fight scene leading to the next fight scene, which just doesn't work well in Slayers. It's OK on its own, but as a piece in the Slayers universe, it just doesn't fit.

Like the rest of the Slayers series, the first motion picture is pure fluff. I found very little to dislike about it, though there was little that I really enjoyed about it either. Worth a few good laughs and a decent way to pass the time if you don't expect too much from it.

More adventures of Lina Inverse and her big-breasted companion Naga is always a good thing. Although the animation is better than in the TV series, this movie won't knock your socks off animation-wise. Neither is the story complex or original. Still, it's Lina and Naga doing what they do best, kicking ass and making the audience laugh.

A small story in the world of Slayers which was enjoyable to watch. Lina and Naga are off to an island of mystical eternal youth on a relaxing "vacation". No more than 5 mins of stepping off of their ship are they confronted by the 6th most strongest guy on the island and battles ensue. The series was fun to watch and had a nice story, I found it a great introduction into the Slayers world.
