Lina and Naga set out to help a village from the evil Zein organization, who are apparently forcing the villagers to dig up this ancient Elven artifact. Zein believes it will help them conquer the world, while Lina and Naga hope it's a treasure. The Zein organization isn't what it seems to be, and neither is the artifact. It's nice to see Lina and her big-breasted companion Naga up to their usual antics again, but the second Slayers movie is a bit of a disappointment fare with surprisingly flat jokes and rather unexciting action sequences. Most of it is due to the music and editing not being in synch with each other. Lina and Naga don't play off each as well here as in the OVAs or the first movie unfortunately, though there is eventually some good teamwork to get the job done.
