Anne, Layla, and Shion are the anime equivilant of "Charlie's
Angels". Which means they kick more butt, kill when the job requires,
and fling Yakuza thugs around like pieces of paper. And all of this despite having
Pink Pineapple's trademark sexiness.
This
pretty much marks the end of the "tentacle sex" era, no matter what
the creators of La Blue Girl say about it. This OVA is a one-shot where
the ladies deal with loose cannon Vanessa Hammers and the project she stole; a
"bioborg" / "sex beast" which happens to be a walking male
genitalia factory. And said project is out of control.
Being
made in 1997, there isn't much "action" as hentai lovers would like
to see. The plot is very tragic as well. So be aware when you buy this hoping
for some "good stuff."
