4. Tempy

A strange girl appears in the life of Tenchi & co, claiming to be Tenchi's daughter. But it's soon apparent that she's a creation sent by Kuzuha, a creature of the darkness who has a grudge against Tenchi's grandfather. The second Tenchi movie is a decent entry in the Tenchi universe. Ryoko's jealousy and some well animated action sequences are the highlights of this movie. The story isn't really as memorable as the first movie, but then Kuzuha can hardly compare to Kain as a villain.

3. hakootoko

The artwork here is beautiful, but the story is lacking. The US title itself is a spoiler, so you don't wonder too much about whether Tenchi's daughter really is his daughter or not. Add to that the real villain in the story who has no real character at all, and you get a conclusion that bores you. This Tenchi installment starts well and could have ended well, but didn't.

2. AgtFox

Not as good as the first or the last Tenchi movie, but OK in it's own right. This movie is about a girl coming into the house and saying that she is Tenchi's daughter. Problem is this daughter sure likes to hit on her dad and is sent by an evil woman. Good animation and an OK story makes this a good rental.

Like the first movie the 2nd seems to follow the events of the first TV series (Tenchi Universe), and like its predecessor follows the traditional Tenchi formula for the desired effects. Just as good as the first movie, Daughter of Darkness adds another chapter on to the Tenchi saga.
