Three people are transported from the present to a sword &
sorcery world: Hollywood actress Airi, macho martial artist Junpei, and arms-freak
Ritsuko, along with a large tank which is possessed by the spirit of a cat named
Mike. With the help of Elven leader Celcia (who gets stuck in a dog form) they
set off to find the 5 markings which will return them to Japan. Unfortunately
those marking are imprinted on the skins of 5 elves, and to retrieve them, our
gang must strip all the elves they can find! The show throws us in the middle
of things, but gradually explains how the gang have appeared in this world. While
the production values are strictly average, it does feature lovely elves designed
by Keiji Goto. There's plenty of silly humor abound, not to mention half-naked
and voluptuous elves. It's quite episodic, and has a few laugh-out-loud moments.
My favorite character would have to be Celcia who gets constantly reminded of
her dog appearance. Unfortunately the animation can be quite lousy at times, and
there are some less than stellar episodes. I wasn't too happy with the last episode
in particular, which left me groaning loudly. Followed by a sequel series. |
