Patlabor, Dominion Tank Police, whatever. A hentai
series about a team of police officers and the mecha they drive is something to
take notice of. But the main feat is how differently the characters react. Like
when two of the characters jumped into an instant sex scene; the others didn't
follow for their own personal reasons. And while the show plays along as some
sort of "episode 1," the interaction between the six officers seem to
be the highlight. The sex is in graphic detail; mainly guy-girl, one girl-girl,
and a rape scene at the beginning. But like the man said, the other half of the
battle is the battle itself.
Tokio Private Police starts out weak when a girl is
getting raped by several guys in a subway train. You kinda get used to rape scenes
in hentai, but the fact that the main character Noriko Ibuki does not help, simply
because she's not on duty, seems very cold. After that the show does turn out
to be pretty good and funny as well. Tokio Private Police is sorta like
a hentai version of Patlabor. The designs and animation are nice. There's
not much of a plot other than showing how the new recruits start out their training
to become full fledged police officers, while Noriko grows to become more confident
of herself and overcomes her fear of sex. With the help of her colleagues of course.
The sex scenes are pretty good. Of note are the well drawn anatomical features.
But what makes this show stand out over other hentai titles are the good plot
and the fun characters, especially Noriko.
