Virgin Night is a very interesting hentai about just exactly what the title implies: young girl's first sexual experience. Its meant to be kind of a romantic, beautiful thing (as it should be) and not hardcore or anything like that. I've always thought there must be a way to make an anime about a sexual experience that had love and emotions in addition to nudity and sex.. Unfortunately, this is not what I was expecting. The show is filled with silences and awkwardness that just plain creeps me out. And being a virgin doesn't mean you have to be totally uninteresting and boring in bed. But I guess she'll get better at it.. as I always say, practice makes perfect!

1. Tempy

This half hour episode feels like much more than just simple hentai entertainment. We have here a young couple, Azumi and Yuzuru. They've been going steady for a while now. There have been kisses, and fondling, but they haven't had sex yet. Yuzuru is not a virgin, and he wants to do it with Azumi, but he's still unsure on how to proceed. Tonight they're renting some videos, and maybe, just maybe, there will be something more to enjoy than movies.

Virgin Night is not your usual hentai show. The art is very good and so is the animation. They've gone for a more realistic approach to telling the story of a couple's first sexual experience. There are moments of long pauses and subtle movements to illustrate the sexual tension and general uncomfort between Azumi and Yuzuru. The characters feel more real and likable, even though they are so uncomfortable with each other. It makes the eventual sex scene have so much more emotional impact than in any other hentai anime, besides the traumatic impact some tentacle hentai may cause :-). Virgin Night is in essence a sweet romantic sexual fantasy, and as such, highly recommended.
