You're Under Arrest! Special concentrates more on the
daily duties of the characters and their personas - often in a humorous way. There
is more concentration on comedy stuff than the movie or even the first OVA. The
character design and art style now more resemble the movie and so they are less
cute in a way, but I think the animation is not as complex or as good as the first
OVA. This OVA consists of 6 episodes. Every episode, except episode 6, is further
divided into four 6-7 minutes sub-episode, each of which has an independent story.
And so you can say that this is a 21 episode OVA. I found most stories to be weird,
with the culprits being underwear thieves, peepers and even weirdos. They are
still the remarkable car chases, but the general cases are somewhere like those.
One last thing, this one is *full* of fan service, so those who are looking for
such things plus a good laugh, you may check this. I see the Special OVA
as a service for the fan of the series - so you may check the first OVA before
this.
