Witch Hunter Robin

Witch Hunter Robin
The Solomon organization goes after Craft users, the so-called witches. Robin is transferred to the STNJ branch which prefers to capture instead of killing the witches. The witch hunters themselves also have Craft ability and use the Orbo liquid to neutralize the witches' powers, though Robin refuses to use it. Who is Robin exactly, why does Amon tend to avoid her, and what is Solomon really up to? These and other questions pop up during this mysterious and intriguing new show from Sunrise.

Ground Defense Force Mao-Chan

Ground Defense Force Mao-Chan
(Rikujyou Bouei Tai Mao-chan)
This cute magical girl show features character designs from Ken "Love Hina" Akamatsu. Mao-chan has to protect Japan from cute aliens dropping from the sky in gashapon capsules. She has the aid from her friends Misora (Air defense) and Sylvia (Sea defense), but it's a good thing the aliens aren't much of a threat, because they aren't that good at defending :-)

Saishu Heiki Kanojo

Saishu Heiki Kanojo
(Saikano, The Last Love Song on this Little Planet)
Shin Takahashi's popular manga has been made into a brand new anime series by Gonzo (Vandread, Hellsing, Full Metal Panic!). Small, clumsy and a little dense, Chise doesn't seem to be the girl Shuuji imagined to be his girlfriend, but he's willing to give it a try. Of course things get a tad complicated when he finds out she is the ultimate weapon created by the military.

Kogepan

Kogepan
What? An anime about scorched bread? Kogepan can be bitter and depressed and jealous of the perfectly baked bread, but deep beneath his hard crust lies a soft heart.

Secret of Cerulean Sand

Secret of Cerulean Sand (Patapata Hikosen no Boken, Adventures of the Airship Patapata)
Based on Jules Verne's "Facing The Flag" and "City in the Sahara" (though I'm not sure how close the resemblence is), Secret of Cerulean Sand is a classic adventure story set in the 19th century and featuring young and spunky Jane Buxton. If the designs look vaguely familiar, it's probably because the character designer worked on Batman, and the art director on Totoro.
